You place the Sweet in SweetTea .. and sweet Arnold Palmers... Soooo Goood! Best 1/2 rack Ribs promo combo. Anything is really Yummmy! We have been discovering The villages area for the past 3 months, even the “fancy” & high end restaurant are not good like THIS one!! The people, the services and the FOOD!! Woww! All beyond 5 stars ! Best ribs ever !! We had the chance of trying samples of all their sides ! They are all tasty and DELICIOUS! Jessica, Our 10 stars waitress, was so nice and so knowledgeable!! She explained all the menu and offered amazing recommendations! This place is delicious! Had the three meat platter with two sides: barbecue chicken, choice beef and sausage with collard greens and mac and cheese for sides. I wish I had a second stomach because I am totally stuffed.
THIS PLACE IS THE OFF THE CHARTS! BEST baby backs ever! AWESOME homemade sides! INCREDIBLE service(Jessica)! GREAT prices! This place should be on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Guy would love it.
We were visiting our friends in The Villages and looking for a place to eat after our visit. Based on the reviews, we chose Oakwood Express Smokehouse. The food was very tasty. The greens we're probably the best I've ever had. I really like how they bring out the small samples for you to try everything. I would definitely visit again. I must say our waitress was so nice and friendly and helpful. It has been a while so I don't remember her name, but I won't forget her excellent service. We really enjoyed our dinner before we headed back home.
Based on the reviews, everyone pretty much covered what we experienced, great service, comfy atmosphere and outstanding food. Definitely a 9 out of 10, will definitely add this place to our favorites in our Garmin GPS.
The parking lot was almost full around noon during the work week. But, don't worry - people are in and out of this restaurant quickly. We got our food minutes after ordering, it truly is an "express" lunch. The portions are enormous and fairly priced. Definitely a great spot to have BBQ!
Really exceptional food, great employees nice and attentive. Older place but clean and charming. Our third visit over last 4 months and never a problem and never less than great. Our friends go weekly and can't get enough.
